Love Gone Wrong

Wounds can heal in a matter of time,

Some wounds go deep yet seem so benign.

It's easy to trust and make someone everyone,

But beware it could be a double edged sword just missing the shine.

Trust is something that has to be earned,

Don’t let it be savored by the unworthy soul.

Before you pledge your allegiance to a cause or a thing,

Make sure you balance the pain and question your goal.

Respect is the founding stone of a relationship,

Make sure it's present and stands the test of time.

Just like a poem is judged by what emotion it chimes,

Likewise in love it's not dependent on how beautifully the word rhyme.

A relation could deceive after a promise of a wonderful story,

Soon you could emerge from it cursing and sorry.

In the end time will prove to be the real teacher,

Don’t waste your time and consider yourself the all-knowing preacher.

Soon you’ll regret the day that you fell in love,

And begin to question love and forget what it is all about,

So my friend before you embark on this divine quest,

Make sure that you are sure about the one, and leave not a single doubt!
